PeaZip is a file manager and file archiver for Microsoft Windows and Linux.It supports its native PEA archive format (featuring compression, multi volume split and flexible authenticated encryption and integrity check schemes) and other mainstream formats, with special focus on handling open formats.PeaZip is mainly written in Free Pascal, using Lazarus. It is free software, released under the terms of the GNU Lesser General Public License.

+FILE MANAGER:
  • Fixed: it is now possible to use keyboard shortcut for go back and go up when browsing any archive type
  • Fixed: it is now possible to open with custom applications items in subfolders of archives
  • Fixed: it is now possible to scan selected items with AVG (inside archives or in the filesystem) - the old non working command can be fixed using reset in Options > Settings > Open with... tab
  • Full path column now is shown only in flat view, to reduce the amount of displayed information in browsing mode
  • Fixed (Vista and more recent systems): robocopy does no longer changes destination folders attributes accordingly to input folder while copying files
  • Various minor fixes and improvements (better sorting, faster translation, simpler message on archive browsing error)

+EXTRACTION:
  • New keyboard shortcuts for extraction:
  • Ctrl+Alt+Enter start archive(s) extraction, as Ok button
  • Shift+Backspace cancel archive(s) extraction, as Cancel button
  • Shift+N toggle extract in new folder on/off

+ARCHIVING:

  • Fixed: "Add to separate archives" automatically unchecked when using add to archive mode
  • Fixed: clicking on file name dialog now always starts the dialog in the currently selected directory
  • New keyboard shortcuts for archiving:
  • Ctrl+Alt+Enter start archive(s) creation, as Ok button
  • Shift+Backspace archive(s) creation, as Cancel button
  • Shift+7 change archive type to 7z, +B to bz2, +G to gz, +S to 7z-sfx, + T to tar, +Z to zip
